VENUE
EAPPC-BEAMS 2024 will be held at the Beurs van Berlage in the heart of Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 22-26 September 2024. We wish to invite and encourage all those working in the field of pulsed power or particle beams to participate in this event.

Amsterdam is the Netherlands' capital, known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system an narrow houses with gabled facades, legacies of the city's 17th-century Golden Age. The conference center, the Beurs van Berlage, is located in the heart of the city. This former commodity exchange is one of the defining monuments of the Dutch Capital.

The Beurs van Berlage is located at a few minutes walking form Amsterdam’s main train station. When you arrive at Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, you can easily reach the Beurs van Berlage by train or taxi.

Train: You can buy a ticket to Amsterdam Centraal Station in the arrival halls of the airport.

TRANSPORT FROM AMSTERDAM SCHIPHOL AIRPORT
Amsterdam is one of Europe's top destinations. Travelling to Amsterdam is usually quite easy, as it can be reached by air, land and even sea. Cheap flights from within Europe and direct flights from outside Europe are readily available, serving Amsterdam Airport Schiphol - Europe's fourth largest airport, which is just a few kilometers from the city Centre.

A direct link railway line connects Schiphol International Airport with Amsterdam Central Station, and is the fastest and most convenient form of transport to the city Centre.

AMSTERDAM PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Amsterdam is a wonderfully walkable city, with most major sites in or near the city center. For attractions that are further away, public transport is excellent and driving is strongly discouraged within the city center.

For public transport in Amsterdam, GVB is the main public transportation company. It provides integrated metro, tram and bus services throughout Amsterdam and its surrounding areas.
